EMT Basic Hybrid Initial

This is a hybrid and asynchronous course that lasts approximately 16 weeks. You will be required to complete the class via an interactive online classroom and there will be online activities, including live online meetings. A weekly online lecture will be recorded and available for review. There will be in-person lab dates, which are listed below under "show sessions." These are the only in-person meetings. The rest of the coursework is completed online weekly at your pace

NAEMT Principles of Ethics and Personal Leadership

Principles of Ethics and Personal Leadership (PEPL) is a 16-hour course that provides EMS and Mobile Healthcare (MHC) practitioners at all levels with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively interact with patients and their families, other medical personnel, co-workers, supervisors and community residents at large.

Anatomy and Physiology

ITLS

International Trauma Life Support for Paramedics and Advanced EMS Providers is a 16-hour comprehensive course covering the skills necessary for rapid assessment, resuscitation, stabilization and transportation of trauma patients

PHTLS

The program is based on a prehospital trauma care philosophy, stressing the treatment of the multi-system trauma patient as a unique entity with specific needs.

EMT Refresher

This course will cover the NCCP 2016 National Component for EMT-B recertification. Does not cover the local/state or individual components.

AEMT Refresher

This course will cover the NCCP 2016 National Component for EMT-A recertification. Does not cover the local/state or individual components.

Paramedic Refresher

This course will cover the NCCP 2016 National Component for NRP recertification. Does not cover the local/state or individual components.

Instructor Methodology (40-Hour)

The EMS Instructor Training Program focuses on those skills necessary to successfully present any of the Certificate EMS courses (EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, CEP) and meets the SCDHEC Requirements for Instructional Methods.
