This preceptor training will cover the basics of precepting EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic students for Lowcountry Reginal EMS Council. This course is an open enrollment, asynchronos course and a certificate will be generated upon your completion of the course activities.
Preceptors are a crucial part of the educational journey for a paramedic student and shaping them into an entry-level provider. In addition, accredited paramedic educational programs must ensure that clinical and field educators who evaluate students have completed preceptor orientation/training. This course will meet CoAEMSP/CAAHEP preceptor training standards.
