This hybrid course is designed to facilitate qualified allied health professionals in obtaining the necessary education to obtain the NREMT Paramedic Credential. This course is open to South Carolina Licensed RN, MD, an DO. *Other licensed allied health professionals may qualify on a case by case basis.
This course consist of synchronous and asynchronous online components and at least four (4) in person lab days for psychomotor competency, and clinical observation rides with a scene response 911 EMS agency. Students should have access to a stable high speed internet connection, access to a computer and be self disciplined in completing timely content and attending in person lab days. Applicants will be required to submit a copy of their South Carolina license, and NREMT EMT certification as part of the entrance requirements.
